N den wat suitable degree advance or retard should adjust to improve the low end???

but if you adjust too much for the lowe end torque then it defeats the purpose of high cam mah...high cam must be for high speed lor...

anyway, for auto wira owners, maybe should save more money go for stroker kit lar...more satisfied ler...dont be like me, regretted ler...

cost is high but worth it... low-mid torque improve alot... vr good for city drive... dont need to drop gear so often...
 
185cc to 240cc injector...also effected your performance dude..cuase you are runing on SVDO same like my car.... best get SAFC2 to retune it.. you are wasting alot petrol for useless power. even untill now...my car SVDO heavy modded with rebore piston still runing 185cc happily..185cc and 240cc..you are just try to mess up with the ECU giving wrong signal on the oxygen reading.

advice to go..get a piggyback or standalone.

second..like what fstrader said...not always thin engine oil is good for spec.
normally i use 0-40w

third, putting in High cam mean it use for highrev, mean more power on mid to high range ... there for low rpm respond slow... this is why we need high power instead just low rpm....
but to solve it...(crank) my car dyno tune retard for 1.5degree have increase my 11whp on my engine...with my adjustable fuel rpessure.
My advice go to...send you car to dyno tune it....dun waste your time testing DIY....this is why Dyno machine build for our service...just only RM300 you will be satisfied.

regarding FC tuning...you will see it on the DYno tune it self...they will use your fuel wisely...

piping... Wira SE piping already ruing on 1.75"(2") mendrel bent i guess your car now is runing high compression due to yuor high cam...time to get a 2 " piping...

Simota open pod air filter with CAI, ...DIY seal over your OPen pod... most of SVDo car actually now using drop in performance filter due to the slow reaction sensor..

S-flow muffler ....this muffler good for low end..but wha is the internal size?
and adjust sensor of crank pulley NOw this is main problem...please send back your car to tune from the mech who modified your crank sensor...coz if you adjust the cam pulley it will effect the crank as well...
i think best send to DYNO shop...tell them you just mess up or modified the cranks sensor..

TS, your engine is a SOHC, unlike the twin cams, the engine has 2 lobes, yours has 1 only
So you have to compromise plus what are the specification of your cams?? Auto you can opt for 268/272 cams and use your adj cam pulley to fine tune it for the streets

You will lose a bit at the low end, not much but mid to high your gain is noticable

Remedies would be lighten crank pulley, lighten flywheel
 
go for dyno tuning...u will get black n white air fuel ratio readings...me last time lucky when i dynoed at gt auto....rm 100 3 run...then thomas free kacau my distributor timing a bit...free 3hp on wheel
 
if my car SVDO, have oversized piston, pipercams, adj cam pulley..
no AFC, no Adj fuel regulator yet. is it worth to go to dyno shop??
or better i get does thing 1st?
 
actually after some certain amount of mod...its always better to go for a dyno...

i know sum 1 funny driving a gti 4g93t...chged to after market custom intake header...he claim much better response...but when dyno...20hp gone!

human is like tat..after spend moeny how also u think got improvement 1
 
hai guys.. My friend engine blow out last night . 4g15 piper cam inlet 260 degree,9.7 valve lift and exhaust 288 degree,9.3 valve lift running at 3 degree retard . full set of valve springs piper . throttle body 62mm s90 . when start engine the idling is not stable and intake vacumm is rising and falling, low speed driving keep on jerking . when pedal on the floor the car is not moving forward. worst. anybody know what is happening ? :(
