Gooseman, To be safe, do a complete service on the car if you don't know the service history. Change all the fluids (engine oil, tranny, differentials, AYC, coolant, brake fluids, etc) before you do any testing. These fluids can show symptoms of potential problems and it's always good practice to do it for any used car you pick up. Timing belt, if the owner cannot give you documented proof of the last change, change it immediately. It's hard to tell without receipts and if you're going to take it apart to check, you may as well get it changed while you're at it. This is something you don't want to take chances with since a slipped or snapped belt will quite likely cost you a fortune.
EP82 turbine help
Anybody knows what's the minimum boost for the Toyota Starlet EP82 turbine? Going to use it for a bolt on turbo project.. Was wondering if the actuator could leak out to get around 0.3-0.4 bar only..
Help me out...
