Hi, i was surfing the web when i saw this on Gizmag.com. I know this maybe old news to some (ok, maybe all) peeps out there, but i was wondering what happened to it.
I means it does sport some very juicy factors such as 1.6 litre petrol engine :hmmmm: (CamPro to be exact), which uses a 'micro-hybrid' start-stop system, a full parallel hybrid drive and a continuously variable transmission (CVT to you & me) to achieve fuel economy of 5.6 litres/100km (RM10.08/100km
). Maximum torque of a Walauweh
233Nm at 1500rpm and maximum power of 105kW (140hp) at 5500rpm enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 9.0 seconds
(Damn faster than a Neo Lotus edition by 0.2 secs, i think) with a top speed of 188.8 km/h. Considering that almost every car manufacturer in the world is already heading towards Green & Efficient technologies, why doesn't proton also jump on the bandwagon? Since Najib setup a Kementerian Tenaga Hijau (G(reen)-Tech, to geeks & nerds) and aiming for a less carbon footprint then today by the year 20xx (forgot already):hmmmm:
. Anybody here know which executive to kick-his/her-ass to make this a reality
?
Here's a pic of the engine bay
