Only 1 major problem - a/c motor seized up suddenly in the middle of Subang Jaya with no warning. Engine died. I had to cut the a/c belt, and then had no power steering becoz belts are connected. Also the usual proton problems like reverse sensor died after 1 month, windows stuck after 2 months, dashboard rattling and fittings squeaking after 3 months. Other than that no major problems.Good to have feedback system, but I have no confidence in Proton/Perodua acting on customer complaints. They just dont care. Always better to have competition. Then Perodua will give Proton a run for its money. But I dont think this will ever happen, unless the Govt sells its majority stake in Proton.Absolutely no after sales services whatsoever. Any dealer, anywhere in Malaysia - they are only interested in selling the car. After it is sold, they simply dont give a flying **** anymore about you and the car you bought.I would like to see at least a level playing field. Only then will Proton / Perodua buck up and give the consumer what it wants. Proton/ Perodua will only give the consumer what he wants - whether it is more high end cars, better build quality, safety features or better original design, only if it has to survive. As long as it remains protected from competition, we will never see this.</blockquote>
