hi honda guys...i have think a lot and decided not to convert my wira ab to mivec...instead...i wanna change car to honda civic 97-00.....which civic 4 doors model has the b16a engine between year 97 till 00...and would u guys give ur opinion about the civic(the best and the worse) & the market price....really2 planning to buy this car....hope u guys can help me out....pleaseeeee!!!
 
civic price is really not stable...EKs especially....can go as low as 40K...and as high as 75K!
 
ya..price of EKs is always change 1..nw the market price is arround 60k something.
 
either '96 or '99 civic, wear & tear honda parts are too costly! i change all bushing.. stereng rack.. ball joint.. upper arm.. almost rm1.5k include labour!

local spec EJ, never hav B16 engine! onli EK4 & EK9 got & it's Original not convert. for ek3, ek5.. are single cam only, D-series!
 
EK4 Si is the only choice for u if u looking for EK 4 doors. its original manufactured in japan n equipped with b16a engine. but its kinda hard to get.
the other way is to get local EK (EJ) with converted engine to b-series.
i got one fren wanna sell his EJ with b18cr at 55k n 99 spec.. letme know if u interested,.

where's your friends location...and is he wanna sell it urgent...or he can wait? can i convert the D model head engine to b16 head? what i mean is from VTEC SOHC to VTEC DOHC

cannot. u have to do whole engine transplant. even the parts oso not interchangeable.
i think my fren can wait.

agreed with you Eddy..the most problematic in EK and very hard to solve unless you changedd all the bushing and the steereng rack part.:cry_smile:
