hi all,

asking on behalf of a fren, hes getting a set of adjustable for his bmw from chop shop... so, since its a 'used' suspension, any experience guys out there can advise: -

- how long it can last?!
- how reliable it wud be?

& lastly,
- does all the adjustable suspensions servicable?! (this is de main question)

thx in advance...

i bought 2 set of used adjustable for my car both spoilt less than 6 months

and i bought a set for my previous car, used too.last till i sold my car

if budget permits buy a new set that come with warranty, but nowadays adjustable absorber of stock absorber was repairable at a affordable cost

serviced it and replace all the faulty parts.
Than I guess it would again be like brand new. What I heard is usually costing around RM100 to 200 per piece for servicing.
I guessed if it's a TEIN abs, could always sent in to N1 for servicing and tuning for M'sia driving conditions.

adj abs

Might as well go for new ones straight....

Even Eibach have good sets of abs & coilovers for BM's

it all depends on your driving habits, the road conditions, as well as your luck when purchasing the used absobers.
