Hi,

I need your opinion. My deal for a certain Yellow Submarine fell thru and I was very disappointed (papers not so good...apparently).

Now, since I don't foresee any significant increase in my salary in the near future, I'm keeping my options open. Thus, the question I'm about to reveal.

What do you guys think of the R33 GTS wrt:

1. parts
2. performance
3. market price
4. others

Thank you.

Cheers,
Azmir Z.

The market price for all the parts will remain the same, and might be will become higher when the manufacturer stop producing them in near future! At this moment your best bet is to order all the parts from internet site from others countries.
As for performance wise, no doubt that car is has the potential to become a monster, but with limited range not like RB26...Unless you are daring enough to take out the whole engine and rebuilt it into a nuclear power plant!
Market price for that car will definitely keep dropping as time passed and it is very normal for a 2nd hand car, it happen to all cars on the road in fact! That's why most Skyline owners won't sell their beast as it is no more in production and it have become a legend already!
Cheers...:wavey:

My first skyline was a R33 GTS-25t... the engine is RB25DET.

The looks are okay actually, it looks very similar to the R33 GTR. But the 4-door ones are ugly, I agree.

Nowadays, these cars are quite cheap but you get a lot of car for the money.

My car was really reliable, even though mine was auto, stock RB25DET has 255bhp and has really good acceleration. 180kmh comes up very quickly!

Ride quality was superb, perfect for highway cruising. Handling was just like a big boat

Tuning a RB25DET is easy and cheap. Can do up to about 400hp easily without rebuild. But if you want more, better transplant rb26.
