Refurbish Recaro seat

anyway... where is a good place to have Recaro seats refurbished using original Recaro fabric?

last i checked, the cost of refurbishing ONE putra recaro seat costs RM450 and takes 3 working days to complete. what gets changed are the side and thigh bolsters (foam and fabric). if you need to change the middle section, it usually costs a bomb as i was told that the seat needs to be sent back to germany to be changed. ridiculous but that's what i was told.

btw, it's on the same block as Amprex Motorsport in Sunway.

The last i was told is they CANNOT refurbish back with the same fabric (if yours is Proton's Recaro) since the copyright was under Proton (only them have the fabric as the customise it)

well apparently they can. but i don't think there are many recaros out there with the middle bit all torn. mostly the side bolsters due to people leaning on it while getting in and out of the car.
