DIY comes in limited can colours... not much of a mix and match (ie you cant get championship white like those Honda DCs / EKs. However, if you are looking for matte black then its possible to DIY with an aerosol. I used Aero spray which is wide and cheaply available at any hardware store. Materials used to DIY depend on the condition of the rims. If its not too deeply scratched/damage these are the materials you would need; - finest grid sand paper - RM1.00 for 2pcs - masking tape ½in wide - RM1.20 / RM1.50 for 1 roll - newspaper - Get The Sun, its free - rags - You can steal your neighbours clothes, FOC too.. hehehe - water - 20sen for 1 litre - car jack - you already have one in your car - aerosol spray of your colour - RM5 - RM10 for 1-2 cans - aerosol spray (clear coat) - RM5 - RM10 for 1-2 cans Total Cost: RM22.70 Steps (if the rims are already fitted into your car): Jack your car so that your wheels is able to 'freeplay'. Wipe your rims clean from brakepad debris then sand off (with water) finely the layer of lacquer / paint. Wash the rims from the debris again. Then start taping newspaper on the sidewall of your wheels and also cover the disc/drum brakes and fender with newspaper. Then you can spray it evenly ideally 3 thin layers + 1 layer of lacquer. Its more cost efficient to spray on car as you can avoid doing balancing and alignment.
As the title given,
I wonder how to adjust the height of the absorbers. I hope to lower my car just enough for my daily driving.
