Your picture ain't too clear. Are you sure it's model S108 or S1-808 or S1-810? Anyway, if it's the S1 (Series 1) models it's 12 years old (1994). Pretty darn old isn't it?

Perhaps you can take a sharper pic of the back as well as the front.

if its an old subs my bet its not fake. Usually in the old days there is not much fake products because its not very popular and its an expensive hobby. But recently when manufacturers began to mass produce things become cheaper and famous thus someone wants a piece of it also.

Actually this pic get from the seller. He tell me that the model is S108 and want to sell around RM120. I think its cheap and fit my low budget . Mnkh, if this sec hand unit is 12 y old already, is that mean it will produce poor sound quality . Please advice me, I am newbie

If the rubber surround and cone material (not sure paper, poly, etc.)? is 12 yrs old, its probably rotten to a certain extent unless it was kept air-tight or reconed at pasar road. :D

Maybe you can ask for more pics and a demo to make sure that it's still thumps and not plat plat plat!
