Ron95 on Suzuki grand vitara

Dear all sgv owners out there, I wonder if anyone face problem using ron95 on their sgv? Mine is choking when put on reverse gear or when car is stationary. Solution is to use Ron 97 but then if can afford ron97, would not have bought sgv.
Does Suzuki workshop provides service to tweak the timing to allow ron95 to be used?
Any help would be appreciated.
