rt100 sr20det

I have a rt100 1978 corona and thinking of putting a sr20det in it . does anyone know if it will fit without any problems and if there are any big modifications that need doing?

I've seen some 1 transplant SR20DET(S14 225hp) into E70 corolla, it fitted ok but of course have to modify engine mounting points. The problem that guy had was finding the rear transaxle for the SR20DET engine. Since halfcut only comes with the front, so it only has the engine & gearbox. After that he has problem lining up the driveshaft causing vibration & excessive wear. But of course the biggest problem he said he has was the old rusty chassis. He need a roll cage to strengthen it enough for good handling. The standard chassis is just too soft & wobbly to handle the extra power.

So it will fit but it'll need alot of work especially on the chassis.
