Silent exhaust for 1.6T engine

Hi all,

I nid sum advice bout my exhaust setup for my old Mirage. Currently my exhaust now is kinda noisy during boosting or hi rpm but normal noise level during idling. The exhaust tends 2 get hot until can feel inside my car (floor) n often spits out flame when I rev arnd 6-revcut. My current setup is more like a poor man's exhaust system :embarassed: .

My current setup: After big down pipe, straight 2" piping all da way till my rear big S-Slow muffler which my fist can fit in. I dunno wat brand izzit, but @ da side of the muffler tip got dis tag welded on it stating "Mugen" wit sum japanese wording on it.

My next setup (planning): Use back old piping, bullet??? (any recommendation???) Evo twintip??? GSR twintip??? S-Flow??? I like those super soft bassy type muffler. Not like those exhaust perang @ hi rpm. Performance increase if possible. No problem wit the authority especially roadblocks. Any recommendation guys???

Btw, I've heard from my fren once he said turbo-charged car muz use big2 exhaust system. Either Straight-Flow or super big S-Floe??? or else da engine can meletup??? Is dis true???

if use small piping engine meletup, aiyo gone la all the standard evo in the world , all going to meletup kekekeke, audi turbo and volvo turbo got see the exaust size ? where la can meletup heheheh

I ask him bout installing Eterna twintip as my muffler n dats when he told me bout turbo cars muz use big exhaust...:stupid:

KRZ8v, use an s-flow muffler and a good middle bullet. i alwiz go for the silent-but-deadly setup. pm me for more info

Rite now I m using an S-Flow muffler, but the noise level is kinda deep loud bassy sound. Even my grandma said she saw got fire came out...hahahahahaa lol Seriously....

Maybe its bcuz my muffler is too big until it kenot muffled da sound n fire from spitting out??? Backpressure been released too fast???

btw, I do experience sum turbo lag @ low end especially climbing up hill. Will drop u a PM later:wavey:

But during normal driving its fine... no poping sound or fire. Its juz dat either when I floor it or simply rev2 my car sumtimes it will burst fire @ the muffler... Juz a small flash but I confirm it is flames coming out.

So I tot maybe cuz my exhaust is too big??? or my muffler no more fiber inside to put out da flame b4 exiting???

you can try super megaphone from jasma.
im using the 3'' now super quiet compare to straight slow exhaust..
