Message: <blockquote data-quote="am_izham" data-source="post: 1782575" data-attributes="member: 5892">yes, orido did say that the mines gtr's acceleration is better than it's gt500 counterparts. but he didn't say that it can beat them in the track. cause circuit racing are much more than having quick acceleration. what about cornering speed? braking performance? the mines gtr or any gtr by itself already has a very good performance but compared to gt500 gtr? i don't think so my friend.sorry, not trying to flame u, just reminding u and myself. peace.back to topic, imho there are many japanese cars that can rival the gtr but don't know if there's anything that can be considered as greatest rival. for example:- 1. stock to stock comparison: in the days of r32 gtr nissan did literally blew every car out there, but not so with r33 and r34. i'm hoping nissan would do something with the arrival of r35 :regular_smile: 2. street tune comparison: the mighty MCR gtr that has over 600hp was beaten by 380hp RE amemiya on the touge.3. track tune comparison: the gt500 gtr did dominates the races for quite a long time back in their days but now nissan no longer consider the r34 gtr platform to be competetive enough when they decided to use the z33 as a new platform.4. drag tune comparison: well, i don't know much about drag :embaressed_smile: but since it's all about power in drag racing i think the gtr will do quite well cause they are good enough to produce 1000++hp.although i'm saying all this i still have my utmost respect to them. and i do not simply say that you can beat the japanese samurai easily. furthermore, an r32 gtr is still my no.1 dream car :shades_smile: peace to all.</blockquote>
