Well, like what the other guys said earlier, depends what u want at the end of the day. I was in ur shoes in 2004 when I had to choose between a new 350z Automatic and a 2002 recond GTR Vspec. Being a petrolhead, I wanted to dive into the GTR and drive it home right away. But the salesman convinced me to try the Z before I made up my mind. The 3.5 litre V6 engine has a unique grunt and propels you from 0-100 in sub 6 seconds. I was smiling all the way to 180kph and my ears wanted to hear summore. It sounded like an orchestra playing under the hud (btw, its a Renault engine, just to let u kno). The handling was crisp, so crisp that it was as if the tyres were glued to the road. The car is also an attention seeker, definitely! (the car was designed in UK and wanted to resemble the older z). The only adverse comments I have would be the road tax of 4xxx, petrol consumption (of course la, its a 3.5 wut), the poor braking ability (I have since upgraded the brakes to GTR34 Brembos) and the lack of boot space (cannot put much things). Servicing is easy and surprisingly cheap. The engine (minus gearbox) shares the same parts as Murano 3.5 and El-Grande 3.5...the SUV is a 4wd (correct me if I'm wrong). There are aftermarket performance parts for the 350Z such as Stillen Superchargers, HKS turbos etc. Singapore has a wide range of performance parts for the car.Just some info and experience to share with you. If you want to know more, go ask Lynks Dynotune ppl abt the 2 cars, they maintain n service alot of GTRs and 350z, including mine. Also, My350z.com.</blockquote>
