Guys,

Need some opinion here. For the last 1 month, everytime when I press & release the accelarator pedal, there is some sound like "eeok2x"..The sound, can be heard under my foot (behind the firewall) ..& not on the engine..Rev'ing' seems to be no problem (no weird sound)...Been google around for the same symptom as mine, but has not found one yet...Actually it is not a 'clunking' sound.....When I already reach top gear & at hi speed, no "eeok2x" sound anymore....The sound will be obvious when the car is underpower e.g. driving at 30km/h with gear 3 or 4...

Is it due to worn out bushing? or any loosen part?
Is it serious? Pls advise... :frown:

maybe ur accelerator pedal loose, thus making the sound.
mine also have. the pedal abit longgar.
try sparing some lubricants at te pedal pivot.

Thx for the assitant maxx..Really appreciate it.... This is because, from http://autorepair.about.com/cs/troubleshooting/a/bl303a_3.htm if there is 'clunking' sound when the accelerator is press harder, it might indicate worn out piston rings...which is serious...Really scares me bro...

I'll try to spray lubricants there ..to see if there is any difference...
What brand u recommend?

try pressing the pedal slowly, maybe it will produce the sound (w/o engine running).
any lubricants brand also can.

Tried b4, but got no sound...Went already to w/shop, the pomen said, might be a worn out bush in the engine...

start engine >> no weird sound
press accelerator pedal at idle >> no weird sound
After shifting gear & moving >> sound a bit for a few seconds & disappear as speed is increased

If the sound due to the bush inside the engine, how much will it cost for replacement?
