I've just upgraded my old ke70 front suspension with AE86 struts/discs. Unfortunately the AE86 struts came with cut stock springs, when installed there is a 2" gap between the spring and retainer (no spring compression at all). Ride and handling sucks when going over bumps.
I tried using the stock KE70 springs but its too small in diameter. It could be made to work by welding a collar/adapter but thats too much hassle, prefer something thats plug-n-play.
Can you gurus tell me if the springs from LE is compatible with AE86? If not, what other alternatives can you suggest? Better still if anybody has stock-uncut AE86 springs for sale, please PM me.
