Our experience this year is that we are not starting from ZERO but rather from negative, so this is the case of negative to hundred not zero to hundred. Many people turned us away and many are non-believers. We did try to arrange some buses but it was a tough thing to convince the revenue model for them. On one hand, the bus companies were not confident on the crowd. But on the other hand, with a single bus capacity of 40 pax per bus, even if we have 100 buses or bus trips that day, we are only talking about 4000 people. Must think of more innovative ways to move people in future event. Same with sponsors, we felt like beggars as many will just push our sponsorship proposals away saying this Super GT event is dead! There was no change on the schedule, but there was some miscommunication regarding the pick walk time. The confusion is like this: Lets say based on our schedule the pit walk is from 1pm to 2pm. What it means is that people should start making their journey to the pit before 1pm. By 1:30, the crowd should start making their way towards the pit walk tunnel. If anyone comes in after that, we probably could not take anymore as by that time, we will be starting to clear the pit area.</p><p></p><p>Even though we are the organiser, we are also bound by the instruction and direction from race control. The schedule for the day of racing is very tight. We need to abide by those times as we must start TV live airing by 4pm. This is for both FujiTV and RTM.</p><p></p><p>By the way, are you guys aware that this year, for the first time ever, we aired the Super GT Sepang race live over RTM1? We are also airing all rounds of the Super GT about two weeks after each race ended. So we will have a total of 9 one-hour program and also the repeats throughout the year. So dont miss it because we invested a lot of money in this. Yup, for us to air Super GT, we need to buy airtime. We are spending hundreds of thousand of dollars into this. Many people think that we get paid for airing it. It is in the contrary. We need to pay for TV coverage because we are not F1. But we have to do it for the Super GT fans in Malaysia.</p><p></p><p>Back to the pit walk ticket, we apologise for the misinformation. We commit to improve on this next year. However, we cant refund the tickets as we have no mechanism to verify the claims, plus there is probably no money left in JPM Bank account...LOL! However, for those in this forum having those issues, I may consider honoring your unused 2011 pit walk pass for a complimentary entry from us for the 2012 pit walk. I think that is fair. But please dont blast this outside of this forum as then we wont know how many people will try to claim this. Please understand that even though the pit walk is a small revenue stream for the organiser, more importantly the pit walk paid pass is an important mechanism to limit the number of people during the walk. So if we need to honour so many 2011 passes for next year, we will have crowd logistic issues. And you guys will not enjoy it anymore if there are too many people there. So for those honestly genuine claims on pit passes, do remind me when the times come next year....cheers!</p></blockquote><p></p>
