HOW TO KNOW 5SPEED OR 4SPEED AUTO(shiftronic)

hi all......i on process to buy used altezza. but time i test drive the car the gear indicator just show 4th gear only.is it altezza only have 4th gear or certain speed i can engage to 5th gears.engine is 3sge beam.

What happened if intercooler of turbo engines not properly cooled by a proper air ventilation like blocked by a bumper, hood or I just want to hide it off? Will this condition may reduce the performance drastically...
