i have recently transplanted svt into ke70,engine wiring complete, but no dashboard wiring since the engine does not come from halfcut..i got 2 problems 1.cooling system:i have closed the original water inlet and outlet at the head and make a new pipe outlet at cylinder no 1..and the inlet at the back of the water pump, the suprising thing is,when i pour water into the radiator,it doesnt come out at the outlet at cylinder no 1,but radiator appears to be full,so i try pour water at the outlet pipe first instead,it also doesnt come out at the water pump..i have checked the pump, all in perfect condition..then i shoot air using the airgun at the water pump inlet at the block,i can feel no air at the head outlet..strange!...it's like the head and the block are seperated by a plate. 2.the engine cant idle, the airflow sensor flap doesnt even seems to be sucked in to its idling position, and the engine cant maintain rev...it only can be revved, and must constantly being revved,or it will die.i have monitored the AFM action, when i crack open the throttle,it does suck the flap, but when i hold the throttle at certain point, the AFM slowly closes, causing the engine to die, unless if i hold the AFM open with my finger, then the engine can maintain rpm.it's like the engine cannot hold vacuum at part throttle..i am certain i have closed all hoses and no vacuum leak at the intake then i try plug out the AFM socket and remove the AFM completely, the engine can idle,at 800rpm,but revving very sluggish and backfires through the intake, and it cannot rev pass 4k rpm but it can hold rpm though... the ecu seems fine,AFM voltage fine,TPS voltage fine, cam timing fine, ignition not yet to be checked but the engine have been transplanted as if,no fiddling with all those thing PLEASE HELP...i need the car to be finished by the end of this month...my classes gonna start next month
