As our preparation went on, we have seen other similar events being organized, notably one in November 2006 follows by another just a few months ago in April.Finally, time has come and KL AUTO SALON™ is ready after two-year of hard work to be known as Malaysia's number one HOTTEST AUTOMOTIVE LIFESTYLE SHOW™. KL AUTO SALON™ will be officially launched in a special “Launch Party” on 11 & 12 August 2007 (Saturday & Sunday) at the Mines Auto City open air car park (opposite Mines Shopping Fair). The Launch Party is open to all from 4pm-12 midnight. During the launch party, interested individuals or clubs are invited to bring their cars for registration in the upcoming KL AUTO SALON™ Auto Styling Competition which will be held at a date to be announced soon. With this advance registration, the organizer will be able to segregate participating cars in their respective categories such as Domestic, Compact/ Sports Car, SUV/MPV, Hatchback/Coupe etc. The number of competition categories will be determined after advance registration closed on Sunday 12 August 2007 at 10pm.Two qualifying rounds are expected to be held before the semifinals and follows by grand final, all at different dates.
