Throttle body putra 1.8

Hi all,

Would like to know, can i use a putra TB on my satria 1.6 with a 4G93 head and
intake manifold. I head that GTI TB is different (socket different) so i just wonder since
i still using the ORI 1.6 TB and intake manifold on a 4G93 head.
Please advice

hmm...why not opt for mivec's 60mm throttle body. even i'm using it to my SGTi

at least the throttle body mod is completed, then plan to get the 93t version inlet manifold which has bigger & slightly shorter length intake.

just my 2 cents

Just asking, if you fit a GSR manifold onto a std 4g93p, do we need to do any machining work like port matching or can just plug n play?

im using mivec TB on my 4G91... i only got the TB with TPS n ISC (no cables) ... evry thg else i use back stock... btw i also bored the stock intakes to match the new 60mm TB...

u can just plug & play, but if u want to have optimum effect i would recommend port matching

yes... cannot.. connectors r different...some says cannot mod the wiring.. some same say can mod the wiring!!! i'm still blur...

my 4G91 is running with 6A12 throttle body... just need to extand

TPS sensor cable socket , other is same .. :D good reponse.
yes, wanna to ask , if change intake maniflod, should we change the gasket ??
4G93/4G93T intake maniflod gasket is it same use with 4G91 ?? pls advice

boyzone....intake manifold change edi muz change the gasket also..its like taking out the head then muz change gasket liaw...coz its paper type...
u can opt 4 mivec o 4g93t manifold coz the route is shorter....n if mivec 1..the inner diameter is already 60mm...

No u can't just plug and play. The connectors are different..

i guess he is referring on the connector parts (sensors) but hardware is just bolt on for 4g93p. all the flange, bolt & studs fits. coz i dont see any mods done on the 'joining parts' of my inlet when i last did it.

4g93 can fit but 4g92 cannot..
