Timming Belt Kelisa

Hi all
someone told me that if timming belt kelisa snap the valve still ok?Just change belt injin run ok like mazda injin B6 and B8.Is that right...

no way man...if the belt snaps on this engine you'll bend a few valves for sure...

why wait until t/belt snapped? he he

in my knowledge, toyota 8v and 16v engines are designed that in case the t/belt snapped, engine internals still ok. juz replace the belt and go. but not for the 12 valves engines.
