Best is if you have a EQ which can be used to help modify the frequency response in your car. Usually the image and level settings are first set by ear then using the RTA and EQ to set the freq response. Reason beign is that at times if you use the x-overs and levels to set the RTA, it may not sound so good as after you get the x-over poitns and imaging as you may overstresttign the speaker to get the needed sound.
