No.. usually aftermarket, and usually on EKs.

But antiroll bar only see stresses when doing autocross/autokhana I think.. for drag.. I think they're not even a requirement.

which sub frame u mean? the one holding the rear arm is it?
wait i think i got pics of it... its crack due to ek9 arb installation... into ek 4 door chasis...

i found something here.

On the EG/DC sub-frame the sway-bar mounting holes are located inboard the LCA mounting bolt holes. On the EK sub-frame the sway-bar mounts are on the outboard the LCA mounting bolts near the edge of the sub-frame. This happened because Honda decided to make the LCAs for the EK's longer, thus making the sub-frame shorter (narrower). All while keeping the sway-bar mounting points in the same location. The result was a SUPER weak structure for sway-bar mounting.

the reinforcement kit is just a piece of metal and spacer

btw, the ARB i bought is with out the bush mounting bracket, can't use back the ori one right? where can i buy this bigger bracket??

Ori one? U mean the EK4 U bracket? No u can't use back, size different.
I'm selling for 50 each for the TypeR ARB U bracket.
If u really scared the sub frame broken, get this http://www.passwordjdm.com/product.asp?numRecordPosition=3&P_ID=1480&strPageHistory=&strKeywords=&SearchFor=&PT_ID=436. It will cost u almost 1k including shipping to MY.

Don't bother to do that if you are putting Type R RARB on 4drs EK, it won't fit right.

i thought that u wanted to put it on a dc2 also. if SiR also need to modified the bracket. but no problem. it'll fit. been using it for many months now.

I did alot of reading into this topic last time :)

Type-R rear subframe are made thicker and more solid than normal. So, they do not need any additional reinforcement. EKs has the mounting holes at the edges which increases stress and bending. Also doesn't help that the backside where the bar mounts are thinner. Since force from the swaybar arent distributed equally and are focused on those mounting points, tears in EK rear subframes are usually bigger & longer depending on the size of the swarbar used. Smaller rear swaybars arent normally a problem, but anything over 15-17mm (trying to be safe) should really use subframe reinforcement. Brands like ASR and Beaks.

EG/DC mounting points are inwards of the LCA bolt. Safe with smaller bars..but bigger ones should use reinforcement. Tears are normally smaller and are almost always located at the mounting point holes. So not much reinforcement is needed. Thats why if u see the BSQ and Beaks kit for EG/DC, they use only a small piece of rectangular metal to backup the mounting holes. The Beaks kit has them in gold colors and are more finished and "showy" than the bare BSQ. Brands, your safe with BSQ, Beaks got report of some tearing, ASR the best u can get but might too overthetop for EG.

Also, the spacer u mentioned is to fill up the space behind the metal piece. Cuz EG(not sure bout EK) rear subframe has a slight downward depression in the between the mounting points. The metal peice provides a nice flat surface to mount the bar on :)

Guys what do i hv to do to install a DC2 rear antiroll to EG. The bush does not fit right?
