I would like sell my Student AP (Admission Permit) where you can import any car with certain amount of tax from UK only.
I just graduated from UK Uni and still did not use my AP because I couldn't afford to pay the tax.
Anybody interested (serious buyer only please). I willing to help (You will be using my name anyhow for 2 years!). we will make a legal letter.

AP Price is 10k.

You can choose any car from civic,skyline, impreza, cooper S, VR6, porshe to ferrari (if you can afford).

Here you can learn UK car market price.

Dont forget that you need to spend the shipping cost which about 500pound (if share container with other student).

I can give some car price and tax example base on my experience.

CIVIC EK 1997 - BOUGHT 2500 POUND (X7) = RM17500
TAX RM25,000 plus shipping RM3000 = 28K
TOTAL SPEND RM 45 500

MERC C200 1995- BOUGHT 5000 POUND (X7)= RM 35000
TAX RM26000 PLUS SHIPPING RM3000
TOTAL SPEND 64K

MERC E240 1997 - BOUGHT 5000 POUND (X7) = RM35000
TAX RM33K PLUS SHIP RM3K = 36K
TOTAL SPEND RM 71K

BMW 318iS COUPE 1991 - BOUGHT 2000 POUND (X7) - RM14K
TAX 17K + 3K SHIP = 20K
TOTAL IS 34K

IF YOU WANT THE CHEAPEST GO FOR EG9 WHICH YOU CAN GET FOR 1000 POUND OR MAYBE LESS IF YOU LUCKY
PLUS SHIP AND TAX FOR YEAR 91 IS RM10K ONLY
TOTAL RM20K

ALL THE FIGURES ABOVE IS BASE ON MY EXPERIENCE AND REALLY SORRY IF U THINK THE PRICE ARE NOT RIGHT, BUT I HAD BEEN IN ENGLAND FOR 7 YEARS.

So dont forget to add RM10k for my AP price. and please note that the car tax is base on the car year and CC.

how much longer will you be in UK? The vehicle to be bought back must be registered and insured in UK under the applicant’s name for at least nine months. check with http://www.miti.gov.my

seriously if u want to buy car from engerlund it is not worth to buy japanese marques. the price after conversion is more or less the same, in some cases more expensive.. only buy european makes.

I brought a car back from UK b4 and I know all the rules. But that's in 1999/2000.

As far as I know the student AP being waived in 1997 and student only allow to hv AP must purchase the car b4 1997.

Maybe Msia gov. change the rule now and allow student AP, but please confirm with MITI then only you buy the car. If not you will be stucked.

I am serious just my advise. Please check.

if we buy the AP n buy a car from UK,the car still under ur AP name for 3 years n cant sold for 3 years under the goverment rules. Tis is very risky...
