Not paranoia, it is about doing the right thing.The impact sensor is to send an electric signal to deploy and not the deployment agent itself. When car manu. test air bags, they don't keep wrecking a car to see if the bag will deploy. They only send the signal up the processor. Only when they test overall car, will they do an impact test.So, any "miss" signal will deploy the bag into your face... better to be safe than sorry :)Happy New Year, guys!</blockquote>
