VTEC Solenoid Question

I have recently realised that the wires connecting to this green plug ( as in the pic below ) is cut. Should I leave it that way or reconnect it? I don't have the proper pic, sorry.

thats the vtec oil pressure switch. get it hook up before the check light blinks. the copper chunky cylinder tube is the solenoid.
 
ok, the funny thing is my CEL never blinked, only when doing hard cornering at about 100 - 110 kph over at the corner from Jln Gombak into Jln Genting Klang. OK, the remaining wire on the plug is too little to be spliced into the ori wiring. So how should I proceed? This particular plug seems familiar, is it sold at hardware / electrical shops?
 
re-solder? the remaining cables on the green plug is only about 1 or 2 mm's left, so little....anyone have the ability to re-solder with the other cable remains only this muchie? i'll gladly pay some RMs ( but don't expect RM50 lah! )
