I'm not a toyota user but I do use Daihatsu JB-JL engines came from Daihatsu Mira L502 Turbo circa 1993.... even then it can use minimum RON92...

TOyota EE80 came before that year rite? so i think it can use RON95 edy

...provided u still uses the stock engine la...

bro my car is still a 1.8 carby engine, using ron95 is more than enough! feels better actually! so go aheah use without fear!:wavey:

Standard Engine? Regarding the fuel type can be use, I do check the service manual already. It showed minimum is RON 92. Since now no more RON 92, so you may use RON 95 or even better is using RON 97

the manual in my ae80 says can accept until as low as ron 85 for 2A and 4A-C engines. mine 2A engine is happily running on ron95 wif some minor pinking sound. ee80 no problemlah using ron95. might have engine pinking. retarding the ignition timing at ur next service should solve this problem.
