I have a set of GAB HA for AE101 that needs fixing. I have sent it to one of my friend's shop but they say first generation cannot be fixed. I have heard that all GAB can be fixed whether first or 2nd or 3rd gen. Anyone can shed some light on this?

Many thanks!

y not check with RSOne? since theyre the distributo anyway.

Just contacted RSOne. Cant be repaired but can be traded in for a new one.

yup at PRS cannot do one also they will do...

is it due to the shocker body didn't have screw type seal to open???

it was welded shut rite???? those type normally the mechanic who can service cut the seal, re-machine the seal for screw thread and install new screw type seal....so later on next servicing no hassle to open... :adore:

around rm200/pcs to do that if not mistaken....

someone mentioned fstrader's shop.....try ask him...

i'll ask my fren where did he send to do it previously....(*he also use 1st gen GAB absorber) :adore:

if the shop do the screw cap replacement for RM200 with fully service i can say that is very affordable price...

ok got detailed info from my fren who did have similar case with TS....

also he was using gab HA 1st gen....

it was rm250/pcs....change the absorber seal body from weld type to screw type including full service with new oil and seals....

was done at "ah sim" seri kembangan....not sure exact location..but ctc no. was: 012-6282927

:adore:

Why bother to ask when you can ask RS One?!?!?

Anybody can cut and thread the body but how sure the spec will be the same and furthermore it'll probably last you a few months...
