Dear all,

I have this GPS device that can help to locate and navigate to places in Malaysia and Singapore. The device has a preloaded map in it and using real time navigation, it will lead you to the set destination and even estimated time of arrival based on your average speed. I have personally tried it and it works great helping to find locations using the most efficient / direct route..

Some of the FAQ are as below..

Warranty period?
- 1 year warranty from date of sale

Since the maps are preloaded, how does the map updated from time to time?
- Every 3 weeks, you can go to the website malsingmaps.com and download an updated copy. But the update varies from Point of Interest, road direction and many more. Can't be certain as they are free.

Where to get battery when it's worn out in a few years time?
- Main supplier said can be change when battery is worned out.

Can the device find smaller areas in villages?
- Depends. Those very small may not be there. But that will be the same for most maps providers. Of course those paid maps may be better but you will need to buy. This is free.

Is there any subscription fee?
- No

What's the difference between GPS and mobile phone with navigator?
- This is a dedicated GPS with stronger signal and map processing speed. Those with phones sometimes causes lots of hang. Also phone will cease GPS when a call is made or comes in. Another thing is that the map available to the phone is not up to date. Future add on are difficult and not accurate. People already complained that 6110 only shows KL map and not PJ while N95 does not show accurately for outskirts.
