which camera

need opinion on which camera to choose...
1. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 +-RM 2200 SLR like (35-420mm, 10mp)
2. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 +-RM 2000 SLR like (28-504mm, 8mp)
3. Nikon D40x RM3000 kit with 18-55mm

ive been using canon s80 and now its in the hands of my gf
budget wise around $3.5k mark...if i get the Nikon,i wont change to another lens for a while as i need to mod my car hahaha...photography is my hobby and with the s80, it is small and i could bring it everywhere...i understand the size of the camera i listed above...im not going make photography as a career, but its something i want to explore and play with...interested in scenery, buildings,cars,random shots of people pics...so which one shall i choose...

i would suggest canon EOS400D...now selling at RM2500-2700...
since your budget is 3.5k..just buy another lens; 50mm 1.8MkII worth RM260... and if u dare..external flash; canon speedlite 430EX :proud:

extended flash is not ur need , if u no interested in media shooting, portrait use a reflector will create better result .....

budget rm3.5 go DSLR lia, dont waste ur money if u like photography ,....
