Ask yourself, does budget really matters?
Am i really into DVDs or SQ?

In the future, if you wanna play surround sound OR SQ, there will be no problem with it. Just add in a processor will do. (but comparing with pure deck cd players, dvd players cant produce excellent sounds)

if u get alpine dvd, and u want to play 5.1, an alternative to buying a processor is buying alpine's digital theater amp, got 2 units left, price 2k++. the amp has an inbuilt 5.1 decoder, and the amp is a 5ch amp, just add another sub amp, kautim
