mmm, the Focal shouldnt be there cuz the price is waaay out of the league of the rest. From what I was told its going to be abotu 12k w/o crossovers. You can buy a nice 3-way Seas or Scanspeak setup for abotu 1/2 of that price man...

The DLS beign a 3 way will probably be better as you have a dedicated mid-bass that will be able to give more mid-bass kick compared to a 2-way setup.

So far I havent heard a good installation for Infiniti in terms of MIdbass.. I find them kinda thin.

Brax... Never heard.. got kicked out of the car before I could..

The Helix S6 is quite good... solid midbass and nice vocals. Tweeter a bit sharp to my liking.

If your budget allows for a Focal Berillium, try looking at Scanspeak Revelator series stuff... the 7" mid gives good midbass n vocals. Additionally, Seas Lotus is also known for good speakers.

Morel .... Boston Acoustics. R&B will never sound right with the others.

try older focal utopia, rs pro or dynaudio mk2, all give great midbass but more importantly enough juice from the amps, 200W would be nice :D :D

R&B is a subjective word, since i am from KL and is currently working in PG, some ppl just mix up the word R&B.
Anyway i consider singers like Boyz 2 Men, Babyface, Toni Braxton and those alike are R&B.

While in PG, i find that R&B means bass kicking and heart thumping music, hahahaha maybe i was wrong...maybe i was right.

anyway, there's no such thing as which speaker for which type of music is perfect.
all boils down to the hardware matching and 100% tuning.
I believe there's no perfect setups in the world. When you tuned your system right, any kind of music will sound nice in ur car.

Dyns sound good for RnB.....very good...personal preference la again....but its best if you can feed them a bit more juice....200W and above would be nice...
