white satria WLR 6369 stolen !!!

guys, my car went missing today near my house at keramat au4/19a. time suspected to be stolen is from 9pm(31/5/2010) to 9am today(1/6/2010).

description of the car:
WLR 6369
white proton satria with black mivec hood
mivec fiber front bumper (middle part has been cut and the grille is painted black)
rear windscreen have Prohatch Enthusiast sticker
imitation te37 bronze rims with gold brake caliper
yokohama parada spec2 tyres all around
big exhaust hks super dragger sflow muffler at the back with the original 5" tip
mivec spoiler
standard proton dashboard but with mitsu digital aircond and meter
standard satria 1.3 seats year 2004

near my area too..i believe my friend shared the same faith like you did..stolen near that area too
and he also posted his lost somewhere in this thread
fortunately recovered back his car with all the accesories removed at sg besi area

keramat au..wangsa maju are among the hot-spot nowadays
i prefer not to drive or parked for a long time period in those area
will keep a look for your car..

what i remember once during a police roadshow is they say car thieves will always look for the route with least amount of hassle...so if yr car got steering lock la brake lock la gear lock la tyre lock la...they will normally give up n go for other easier targets...i'm thinking of getting another brake lock n use on my accelerator pedal just in case heheheh.

anyway...made the police report yet? the police say anything?

if me ah,
i put 3 steering lock, 1 for each padel,+ gear lock + bonet lock + boot lock
mau senang, just get quick release steering.

arturo: ouh i see. but my friends satria gsr also stolen 2 weeks ago. the weird thing is the car cannot start coz the battery is flat and he said he didnt start the car for a long time. he also uses brake lock but the thieves still managed to steel the car inside his apartment parking. btw, which area ure staying?
yeah ive made my report on the day itself n also report to my insurance. all documents settled within that day. the police asked if my car is pretty n attractive. i said no. he asked did i used expensive seats like recaro or anything. i said no also. he said that satria is hot cakes nowadays regardless of gti or not in many areas. better be careful guys. use whatever u can to prevent your car being stolen. all those locks sounds good to me. planning to get it soon for my future car.

danz: what is bonnet and boot lock? does quick release steering works?

From my experience (fairly recent), even if you have clutch lock, brake lock, steering lock, shock sensor, immobalizer, fuel cut switch, quick release.. if they want to steal your car, they will. All they need is a tow truck.

Damn those thieves. I'm so paranoid now./
