koolspyda... the force is strong with u.... heheheh

respect!!!

nope. the details were explained to me by a true SW fan in US.(spyderdan). It seems there are alot of stuffs (twist and this & that) for everything in the SW saga but we know less about.

BTW that chap will soon be driving a wide body/full carbon fibre kit monocraft replica spyder with turbo 2ZZGE!!

talk about jealousy. :) :p

Revenge of the Sith should be renamed to Revenge of the Landing-and-Departing-Spacecraft-Scenes.

And no, I didn't get this from David Letterman.

missed 30 mins of the first one n half hour and cudnt concentrate koz my daughter keep on yelling 'naaak aaaair' on top of her lungs every 3 mins and bugging her elder brother for popcorn..

otherwise its a nice movie, but seeing vader screaming in anger on hearing dat his Padme is dead looks so unreal.. vader has a soft spot??? vader is the definition of EVIL in ep4 to ep6. if i watched those again, i would be think less of his evilness due to that particular scene in ep3.

yes, u should watch them again. u forgot the important thing and u missed the point in the story.

he lost it when seeing luke being fried by lightning in ep6.... and that is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY after he has done many2 terrible things and drifted FAAAAAAAARR into the dark side. remember that the point here is "THERE IS STILL GOOD IN HIM". there is, was and always good in him. it was "reiterated" (according to movie order) again in episode 3 by padme in her dying breath. luke repeated it many times in the old trilogy. the soft spot ALWAYS existed.

ini baru je join, and his love for padme is still strong. Padme is a closer bond to him than luke, whom he has just discovered later... never even had time to bond with.. yet he still had a soft spot for him. whats so illogical with him waking up after a terrible experience (lost to obi wan) and the first thing he remembers is a loved one?

he was still in the mindset of joining the dark side to save padme (not bcoz the dark side is fun fun fun) at that moment. remember that he did not "ask" for the costume thus the 'Vader' persona we knew does not yet 100% materialized at that time. that "soft spot" makes every sense IMO.

A little info of SW saga ; from a good friend (spyderdan) from US~replies to question about the good 'force' vs the sith power

Well then how about this flaw; Skywalker asks Leia in episode VI about their mother and Leia said she spend a short time with her and she was beautiful when in episode III she died after giving birth. What up with that.

That is a bit of a problem. However, Leia only said that her mother died when she was very young, and that she only remembers "Just images, really. Feelings."

So, maybe the images she spoke of were pictures/holovids she was shown as a child. Maybe the "feelings" component has something to do with the Force.

I was just watching part of EP2, when a jedi craft landed, the R2 (or R4) droid needed to be lifted out, in EP3, R2 just pops/flys out of the jedi craft. so, you might say, more advanced? ok, then in EP4, they are in the hanger loading R2 in the back of Lukes X-wing fighter.

Maybe the Episode III Jedi starfighters have some sort of ejection mechanism for the astromechs. Maybe other starfighters do as well, but we never saw it used. I'm guessing there must be such a mechanism, because how else would an astromech leap like that? I don't recall R2 having used his hover jets (which were apparently no longer functional in Episodes IV-VI anyway, likely due to 20 years without a mechanical prodigy like Anakin to keep him upgraded and maintained).
What about the dead master that Yoda spoke of being in communication with towards the end of Episode III? Could there be another movie? Who would they bring back from the dead? Generalisimo Fransisco Franco?

Yoda was speaking of Qui-Gon Jinn. Unfortunately, some of the dialogue surrounding that was cut. In fact, there was originally supposed to be an appearance by Qui-Gon's ghost.

This was supposed to be the explaination about how Obi-Wan and Yoda both learned to retain their identity and physical form after "becoming one with the Force" and be able to communicate with the living (which is why we saw their bodies vanish upon death). Qui-Gon figured out how to communicate, and we briefly heard him in Episode II ("No, Anakin. No!" when Anakin slaughtered the Tusken Raiders). He communicated to Yoda, so that both he and Obi-Wan could learn this ultimate power of the Jedi to transcend death.

The irony surrounding this subject is that the power to transcend death is what the Sith ultimately aspire to, but can't truly achieve. Instead, they can just prolong their physical life, as Palpatine obviously has been doing for quite some time, hence his true appearance as revealed in Episode III (and as he was sseen in Episodes V and VI). Likewise, Palpatine was able to help keep Vader alive, but he ended up stuck in the suit for the rest of his (un)natural life.

Unfortunately, Lucas editted almost all of this out, leaving us with only enough to just confuse people. This may have something to do with one of the bigger possible plot-holes this would have contributed to: how did Anakin learn this power and appear as a Force ghost at the end of Episode VI? I simply answer "because he's the chosen one, dman it!"
Vader destroyed the Emperor without any help from Luke.

Luke's eminent death at the hands of the Emperor was just the catalyst that turned Vader away from the dark side, allowing him to finally fulfill the prophecy of the chosen one who would bring balance to the Force.

I guess, in that sense, Luke "won".

As far as Mace Windu: Palpatine was faking it. It was all part of his manipulation of Anakin. Earlier, Palpatine tells Anakin that he suspects the Jedi will turn against him and try to take over control of the Republic.

Anakin WANTED to kill Palpatine upon finding out that he was a Sith Lord, but stayed true to the Jedi way and went back to the Jedi temple to inform Windu. Windu left him behind while he went to "arrest" Palpatine. Then Anakin shows up at Palpatine's office to witness Mace Windu about to execute the beaten-down and defenseless Supreme Chancellor. At that point, it appears that Palpatine was right about the Jedi all along...

just as Palpatine planned it.

Yes, I agree, that's why need to elaborate more how he turn from soft spot to true evil.

'Vader' persona we knew does not yet 100% materialized at that time. that "soft spot" makes every sense IMO.

Go and read the book, it has a lot more backstories that were not possible to be included in the movie, like the part where Qui-Gon becomes Yoda's master and teaches him the knowledge of "Force Ghosts".

i have to watch the movie again.... and read the book..

maybe take the kids to see madagascar :D
