Nope. The PDT1000 diagnostic device is exactly that - diagnostic only. Clear error codes and tells you what's wrong with the thing.

VDO is smart enough to adapt and adjust itself to it's 'ideal' mapping. Unless you custom some parts like the crank pulley, custom drill a bit so you can adjust the angle, then you can manually mess with the ignition timing. Or just use the Unichip or EMS piggyback, then can modify the A/F and fuel maps.
