Wira SE - Putra SPRINGS

can anyone tell me if Wira SE springs can be used on a Putra?
plug n play or must modify a bit...

wira SE springs cannot be used on Putra...
1.5 and 1.8 litre...see the differences??

True True.. Agree.. The weight support of 1.5 & 1.8 is totally different. 1.8 carry more weight so the spring is different from 1.5..

but i also heard Wira SE n normal Wira 1.5 springs r different...

diameter of the springs are different mah... thats why 1.5 springs cannot fit the cup holder of 1.8 springs....

ya, usually proton's suspension setting are

1.3/1.5=smaller
1.6/1.8=bigger

n its for front absorber n springs only.... rear is the same

BUT~!
the NEW wira SE(1.5) n satria SE(1.5) are both using 1.6/1.8 front absorber n springs

tats why those new wira/satria se(1.5) after they downgrade to 15" rims n tyres... the front look like 'higher'...
coz the engine too light for the 1.6/1.8 damper n springs at the front...

so ur wira SE springs can be use on putra's damper, n its plug n play. :D

except... proton ki siao giv different spec diam diam... :P lets say the out of parts that particular time.. :P


neway, few of my friends who drive satria se n wira se, they found out their front n GTI dampers n got rear anti-roll bar as well(rear ARB used to onli equip with 1.6 n above model in proton).
