wat's da problem??mind to share with us??tq

erm..lots of problem..as u know..if u put rb/sr inside..there have many part should be modified..especially engine mounting..gearbox and electrical..if u are 'pomen' maybe it is ok for u..sparepart maybe cheaper than bmw ori engine but u have to pay more to your pomen bcoz of hard work to change some part and need to be modified or custom made..some cars maybe ok and some maybe not ok...it's up to u to buy a modified or ori e36..i've plan to change my rb20 to m20 2.5/2.7..it is powerful too..more torque..e36 325comes wtih m50 engine which is about 192bhp..it is enough power to drive a e36 body...

this is all about work man ship.. I have a friend using 2jz in e36 no problem at all easy to maintain the car going atl east 380BHP.

another friend of mine using e30 with 1jz going at 300 BHP. so far they have nothing to complain about the car..

yes..some are ok..but some have a problem...your friend are lucky bcoz they have no problem with that..mine also ok in some part...the engine will running normally but still have a problem about mounting and some other part..

if u want to buy e36 as project car..better u convert..bcoz easy to find performance part..if u want to buy for daily use..better u find a standard e36..

i used to own 325 e36 1994. after a while the engine and GB about to overhaul that csot around 15k to overhaul.

Then i decide to project the car. Go look for Rb25 half cut cost around Rm3.5k plus installation around 2k plus modify here and there exahust system long shaft ect ect. cost around 8k. if in future overhaul a rb25 maybe cost around 2-3k if manual GB no need to overhaul. With rb25 invest 2k plus can be very fast ald.

But end up tak jadi bcos need to put the car there for about 2months. I plan maybe few years later got extra cash might do it that time should cost more cheaper for conversion.

I know wat i wan i power force induction so go for rb25. standard m50 just not enough at all if modify m50 gonna cost a bomb man

erm..if we look at hp...rb is more than m50 bcoz of the turbo..japs engine more hp but less torque...i compare my 1991 volvo 740 turbo with cefiro turbo..
my volvo has 165hp with heavy body only but cefiro has about 200hp with lighter body than volvo..i can tapau the cefiro at 2nd gear and leave the the cefiro at back..it is same with bmw..huhu..if u are topspeed mania...u should respect to continental engine..huhu..better torque!

mercedes
