Used collector's item Ibanez JS 700 1997.
Well kept from moisture and heat, and periodic body polish
and fret board lemon oil application. The strings are slightly unwound in storage.
Manufactured in Japan. Stayed there until year 2007.
Bought in Niigata, Japan from the owner. So the item is
well preserved in Japan's cold and dry weather for 24 years.
Came to Malaysia 3 years back, carried by hand into the flight cabin
not in the cargo.No gig use, only indoor.
Japan made js 700 are a sought after model due to the quality of the wood
and the workmanship. The Japan factory only produces this model
for one year with a one piece mahogany body and the rest in Korea and
rumours had it that there are only a 1000 unit ever come out from the Japan factory.
The japanese version are valued three times higher than the Korean Version.
From the serial number, the guitar was made in Fuji-gen Plant, Japan in 1997.
Korean made JS100, has a "Joe Satriani" inlay at the 21st fret;
the Japanese version has "JS Custom" at the same position.
