Photos Of My 93' Corolla

Hey.. Actually I've been wanting to ask you all this while why didn't you change the headlamps. Clear/Crystal smoked headlamps really make all the difference! Nice one...

and btw, where did you get that chrome oil cap from? Just the looks of it adds 1 or 2 horses... Haha!

Haha, yeah I should have done it a long time ago. Really did make a big difference. The chrome oil cap is a Simota one. You should be able to find one easily online. The sticker on the top is removable so that you can stick it back down when you have your oil cap screwed on tight so that the writing isn't all crooked. I really want to get a TRD one http://www.jdmpit.com/jstore/images/TRD%20Oil%20Filler%20Cap.JPG but would rather spend my money on other more important things :)

Here's some more shots that I just took as the sun went down (was too much glare throughout the day) -

I think next you should get white bulbs for your headlamps then install yellow foglamps... PIAA or Hella maybe.... Trust me white lights looks good on AEs. Having one myself. Get a high quality magnetic HID that doesn't glare oncoming drivers or a quality white halogen bulb like the osram blue vision. Cheap ones have sucky light output! I am using one of the cheap ones but plan to use it till it burns out before I change as I usually drive in well-lighted areas.

Here... White bulbs on my AE111. Mine is not very white as I used 4300k. 5000k should look even more awesome but to go that high on normal halogens, light output is almost nil. It will be just for show...

This is the small light... I used blue...

High beams should look like these...

I used cheap ones. So ground illumination is not that goos. White lights are superb for illuminating road signs though!

@ Veloc - Thanks for the advice and photos! I was actually thinking about changing the bulbs last night as they look quite yellow. I don't often drive at night, but it would still be nice to do. Would definitely opt for white as any other colour is illegal here, and most likely just a simple halogen as opposed to an HID set-up. Your one looks great. Hopefully I'll be able to do that in the near future. Thanks again bro! http://www.websmileys.com/sm/fingers/fing32.gif

Thanks bro! Sad to hear that you sold your rims, I don't often see them on the roads here. Maybe you can buy another set someday :). Glad you like my car http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/058.gif

Bought this for my car today. It's an electric driver's seat from a 7th Gen JDM Corolla SE-G sedan. It was a rare factory option and allows you to adjust the seat to any position with the press of a button. There are two motors - One for the seat rail adjustment position and one for the backrest position:

Installed my OEM driver's electric seat rail today:

Also installed some 6.5" rear speakers a couple of days ago:

Bought another electric driver's seat from the junkyard today (out of another SE-G model). The motors in this one seem to be a lot stronger than my current one, so I suspect it hasn't been used much. I'm planning on just swapping over the rails and chucking out the seat. I'll keep the other electric rail for spare parts.

Also bought some other parts at the same time:

Check out what I just bought from the junkyard :biggrin::biggrin:...I literally gasped when I saw it (and I never gasp ). As you guys know, I've already got an Air Fantasy unit in my car which I miraculously managed to find a few months ago, so to find another one of these extremely rare parts was beyond belief. It came with the hoses, fittings and the loom. Talk about a lucky day!. Will probably keep it as a spare.

What does that do? never seen anything like that around...Perfume for your car??

The Air Fantasy system works by pushing air from the A/C evaporator housing through a rubber hose into the rear of the unit and then into one of the nipples on the selected Air Fantasy scent cartridge. The scent is then carried through to the second nipple on the selected scent cartridge, out the rear of the unit, through a second hose to the heater unit and then gets distributed through all four of the front vents. You can choose to have the unit on auto or manual. The auto mode will send a burst of fragrance through the ducts periodically (not sure what the time delay is yet) and the manual mode is an 'on-demand' feature, where you simply press the button for the scent cartridge you want to use (Mode-A, Mode-B or Mode-C) and it will send a burst of the selected fragrance through each air vent.

So yep, basically perfume for your car . It was an extremely rare dealer optional extra when the car was brand new. I only know of 3 other units in the world. They were only an option for the AE101 Corolla, AE101 Levin and Toyota Sera. The one I already have in my Corolla works really well. I thought there were only 3 different scents available, but the one I bought today has two different scents in it, so I might mix them around to see which ones I like best. I don't use it often, but it's a great talking point on long trips

Reminds me on a dream i had..

Here's my latest purchase, a TRD 3-point strut brace http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/046.gif. I've wanted one of these for a long time, but they're discontinued so it was a bit hard to find one. Fortunately the opportunity came up last week. When it arrived it had a few bits of paint missing, and since I'm so fussy, I decided to send it to the powder coaters and get it completely redone.

Here's some pics of how I received it, how it looked when I got it back from the powder coaters, and how it looks after I installed it today:

Awesome!!! Looks killing!!! hey bro, I saw you the other day at another forum. I forgot whether it is TOC or somewhere else... Oh btw, I've just painted my valve cover white. I didn't sand is and I didn't use primer or heat resistant paint though... Hope it last. You are the one that inspired me... haha... Now trying to source for the chrome oil cap and the "16 VALVE EFI" sticker that has gone off.
