Photos Of My 93' Corolla

Awesome!!! Looks killing!!! hey bro, I saw you the other day at another forum. I forgot whether it is TOC or somewhere else... Oh btw, I've just painted my valve cover white. I didn't sand is and I didn't use primer or heat resistant paint though... Hope it last. You are the one that inspired me... haha... Now trying to source for the chrome oil cap and the "16 VALVE EFI" sticker that has gone off.

That sounds right, I'm all over the place! http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/028.gif. Good to hear that my valve cover inspired you to paint yours. If you've got some pics I've love to see them. Don't think I've seen one painted in white before. Damn, no prep AND no heat resistant paint!? Cross your fingers bro, haha. I hope it holds up for you. The "16 VALVE EFI" sticker should still be able to be purchased from Toyota. The part number is 11291-16080. Thanks for the kind words buddy http://www.websmileys.com/sm/fingers/fing32.gif

Yeah was just testing it. Not much hope for the first time. If it comes off I'll have it sent to a proper painter. But so far, it seems to be holding on well . Well, I've seen one painted in white. But that is a silvertop 20V. It was painted in metallic pearl white. Either 2k or 3k paint. Saw it at a car show at it totally owns . Thanks for the part no!

No worries :). There's actually a really good guide on ToyotaNation.com which tells you how to paint it. Here's the link: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=332427

nice strut bar..

me want one

:itsme:

Thanks :)

I bought a couple of brand new grilles this week (one pre-facelift and one facelift). Got them for a bargain. I'll keep the one like mine as a spare, but I'll more than likely sell the facelift one.

Decided to try out the facelift one a couple of days ago, but prefer my original one better (the dark grey version) -

Awesome... The former looks more aggressive while the latter conservative. Btw, have you seen one without any chrome and badge but uses a wire mesh. Now that looks fierce. I've seen some here in my place. Quite rare though. There is the TRD Emblem but I do not know whether it is original. Does TRD even make them?

I agree :). Yeah I've seen one of those TRD grilles in the past, and to my understanding it is a genuine TRD part, but I have no proof to back that up. Would be nice to own one of those, just for the sake of it.

Here's a shot I took about 10-minutes ago. Just happened to walk outside and saw a rainbow (was actually a double rainbow but the second one wouldn't fit in the frame), so ran inside and grabbed my camera. Didn't have enough time to grab my keys, push the button and unfold the mirrors so they're folded in the photo, haha:

Test fitted my front lip today. Needs prep work and painting, but it seems to fit well with no cutting required:

Here's my latest mod that I installed today - An OEM key light. It was a rare factory option. I got it from an AE100 Sprinter, which has the exact same interior as the Corolla. Everything was literally plug-and-play which made the job very simple. It works as soon as the door is opened, and when the door is shut it remains on for about 10-seconds and then dims out.

Thanks man :). I visit the junkyards very often, which is where 99% of my optional extras are from. Car parts are cheap from the junkyard (the type where you take your own parts off), but considerably more expensive at a wrecker. A lot of the time I find nothing, but then there are times where I find something amazing and it makes it all worth it http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/058.gif

That's so good man... There isn't any junkyard at my place. Only chop shops that sells used parts and they literally chop you with their prices... Haha... Having a junkyard at your place and passion makes your ride really one of a kind! :driver::driver:

Haha, sounds a bit like the wreckers over here. They charge about $50 NZD per wind deflector, whereas the junkyard only charges $8. I bought both of my Air Fantasy units for an amazingly low $20 (RM 49). The Air Purifier unit was around that price too, and my full GT interior (seats and door cards) only cost $57 NZD (RM 140). That reminds me, I really need to get the GT fabric from the door cards transferred over to my SE Limited door cards. Anyway, that's an example of the prices I pay at the junkyard for things. The entry fee is $2 NZD (RM 5) but it's negligible if I find something worthwhile

nice man, can find more of the OEM key light and send it to us?
