But I heard parts for Suzuki is expensive and yet from China? If want japan parts is much more expensive than China Parts. Is this true?

Is a nice car but if it is true, then the maintenance wise is a bit pricey for suzuki cars and the parts they use.

Swift would be nice and affordable to most people too but IMHO, better go for local cars. perhaps if buy from proton in high quantity then we an ask them for a 'bulk' discount or sponsorship...

or, what about a ford fiesta 1.6 sport ? 1.4 also can as it is cheaper... better go for an 'uncommon' car on the road as there are too many swifts and protons on the road...

uncommon = expensive

here's a thought.. Import car from Japan that are rare in Malaysia..

Cars that are 2 doors.. coupe or hatchback.. which has a twin brother in Malaysia..

eg. Toyota Levin, Honda Ferio (in Fast & Furious), Daihatsu Mira.. all of them are 2 doors but have their twin brother 4 door in Malaysia..

i'm not sure if there's a 2 door Vios/Altis or Civic/Accord in Japan :questionmark: :hmmmm:

go check it out.. i'm sure it's going to sell fast..

thing is, most japanese makes command good resale value, except some really love value and ugly looking cars. i think swift is popular because of the simplicity in designs.

theres also the nissan latio (which i think more unpopular) or the mazda 2 hatchback (hardly seen any of them). theres the ford too, although it is nicer with the twin dct gearbox, im sure the ecu modifications would be quite limited, since it is paired to the twin dct gearbox.

If you are saying twin brother car, I think the choice for the twin brother 2 door would be nice if can get this. Since is limited to 100 Units only, it will be rare in malaysia and limited ZTH edition car hehe! Just a suggestion though

Rare Car is good..

Rare Part is not good..

Meaning.. maintenance will be high.. not many can afford..

for me (just my 2cents) i don't mind investing in an expensive car.. but i don't want to invest in expensive parts.. if u know what i mean..

btw, i'm driving a Toyota Levin AE101, 2 door coupe & i love every single minute of it..

yes its expensive when i buy it.. but the spare parts.. it's like maintaining a Proton Wira

:driver:

thanx.. i like the AE111 Levin too.. only the front part..

the back part.. haiyooo.. not my taste..

Maybe u can convert front to AE111 and rear maintain . I do agree
that the rear of AE101 is nicer :top:

Supra_Fanatics : yeah.. i've thought of doing that.. mayb in the future.. for now, i wanna enjoy my Bomex bumper.. hehe

Kevin : i think better u talk to Proton.. mayb they can help u to produce a limited edition of the car..
so, the tagline would be 'Lotus Handling, ZTH Tuning'.. :top:

terbaeeek!!!!

will look into it, ultimately, it depends on which manufacturer is the most freewilled and innovative enough to take up our challenge, hehe

IMHO, the car should be a common car, and make it uncommon..
and it must be fun to drive too, like the swift, neo, or even ford fiesta 1.4..
im visualizing a black and white colour scheme.. simple and not too ah beng-ish..

how about MYVI..?

it's the best seller in 2010

but u have to convince Perodua to make a 2 door version..

if everything goes well, pick another model & do the same again.. $$$

No automatic transmission please. I personally would prefer local common model yet quite sporty, like Neo 1.6 manual.

ZTH could make it "uncommon" with turbokit plus simple but attractive bodykit. No need for state-of-the-art alloy wheels, ohlins DFV suspension and 4-pot brake system, cause it will make the price skyrocket and outreached from the buyer. They can change it according to their preference, anyway. Interior wise, I still can live with what proton currently has offered, plus airbags for driver and co-pilot.

Turbo'ed Neo with 170hp-180hp would be adequate for me. But, make sure the reliability aspect is at least on par with standard Neo from proton factory :thefinger:
If ZTH can negotiate with Proton to retain the manufacturer warranty for this "souped up" Neo, it would be perfect.

If ZTH can make the price around RM10k higher than normal selling price, I believe it will be selling like a hot cake.

Just my 2 kupang noob opinion.
