i agree too. i damn f**king hate SATO ACCS, will ban them forever.....happened when i wanted to change my turbo timer.....got universal ciken brand wan. selling rm280...then the fella gimme discount to rm160.....add rm20 for installation.

next week i saw the actual same turbo timer in brothers rm99 only.....since then i banned SATO my whole life.

2nd incident...i went to fix my radio at accs shop near my hse. just a simple wiring rm50, the fella broke my glove compartment bracket.....then quietly wanna glue it.....i kept quiet only.....then when he was done, i saw a nokia hp, forgot which model but expensive wan la.....on my driver seat...since its black so quiet hard to see it......

tot wanna keep quiet & quickly chow....but i was kind enuf to give it back to him.....haih...
should have kept it...sell it off & get myself a new glove box compartment.

BROTHERS KELANA JAYA ( workmanship / products s*cks ) blacklist blacklist,if u face any problem with them, there is no manager to handle your problems at all, they will push here and there, and in the end u will get fed up and stop going there to buy things from them, especially those electrical item like meter / light / etc etc,no refund and they will ask u to select other item if you do not 1 the item that have problem.

i also ban BROTHERS, gone in there 30 times but never bought a single item haha......
just go there to look see onli.

thanks bro.....i guess silvia or GTR size intercooler should look better, but dunno whether will it lag or not....anyways, when i was awaiting trial @ TTPM, there was this indian lady filed a case with proton for her savvy, they charged her RM11k to change a bunch of sensors.....not sure which 1.....
soon i heard she won the case. Proton will charge her accordingly & provide her a replacement car while her savvy goes into repair.

not sure is it the same case or not

No Sweat bro. i like looking at Cun car.

if im not mistaken it was for proton pesona, proton charging rm25k for some fix. the girl won rm38k. my bad exp with proton when they were charging me 1st rm1000 for rear perdana v6 bumper. then 2nd offer me rm900 for that same bumper.

i called up a friend who know another friend own factory supply perdana v6 ori body parts.

they gimme rm500 bumper complete paint to match. serious i went to factory just for 1 rear bumper. uh..

id say server proton right. with their hefty price tag for parts & terrible Customer servicing.

tq bro, but my car std v6tt only :)
whoa rm25k for some minor fix....can buy 2nd hand viva edi....its normal for proton sc to overcharge customers......

i tot local parts supposed to be cheap....but looks like conti parts are cheaper :)
if compared to proton la.......

if not mistaken my mom in law bought alfa bodykit includes front & rear bumper, rear reflector, bumper reflector, front bumper bracket, front nose, bumper garnish, all in rm1.1k without paint....but bumper is PU at that time, now plastic even better, close to OEM ones.......

if rm900-1k for the rear bumper is a ripped off ......

i complained to proton once bout a salesman that cheated my mom in law when buying a persona, they told me that will call back. but they didnt........i just forget bout it.......

True bro. waiting game aint game anymore. TTPM really help. that why i sell of my 04 v6. continental parts are cheat to think of it. eg : pair front wheel bearing for my merc w210 only cost rm50 labour is around rm20. im thinking new trend of business now is being a big ripp off.

wah, merc bearing cheaper than me changing my v6 ones, 1 pc SKF bearing rm150, workmanship RM50 if not mistaken, cos got to press the old bearing out......if merc comes in 1 pc rite? just remove the old 1 & bolt the new 1 in...

I’m want to highlight the bad experience at “Weng Cheong Auto Tyres Service” workshop located at Ampang (beside Shell Station).

On end of April 2011, I went to the said shop for replace 4 nos. of tyres and service the rear brake pump. Unfortunately, I found my car brake is not function while driving at the highway on the next day. Luckily, I not hit the front car although at traffic jam (return from work around 6.30pm).Hence, I call the boss of Weng Cheong since I planned to go for service immediately. But, he said their workers will be off at 7.00pm even I highlighted the brake system is malfunction. Therefore, I forced to take the high risk to drive my car to work on the third day and service after work.

Finally, my car was repaired FOC by Weng Cheong on third day due to one of the brake screw nut was not tighten by his worker. All the brake oil was fully discharged out and causes the brake is malfunction. Upon repair completion, the boss is never make any apologize to me. I will not visit to this shop anymore. I just want to advice who are plan to visit this shop if he/she willing to take the high risk.

later i will compile this list of bad workshop & garage for us car lover to avoid. perhaps once a month should be fare.

*Please feel free to add or give suggestion. as this could save our lives, love ones, effort & money. Happy & Safe Driving All The Way :driver:

oh my bad. merc wheel bearing is an easy affair : open box, open few nuts & bolts, take out worn bearing & plug new bearing in. hoh this remind me to buy those 2tons car jack. wonder can i really DIY this. i remember when my mechanic install it, it only take less then 30min for both front bearing by him self. bro danz is your v6tt manual tranny? i still admire perdana v6 2nd ed design. auto tranny + its fuzzy logic hickups & proton bad services just kill it for me.

Danz... why so expensive? Even RM5k for 5 years also expensive already... I mean, unless there is a major part replacement, the only thing are oil, filters, plugs, and occasionally tyres right? I don't know coz never maintain turbo car. What are the maintenance you did?

My car, if no sh*t happen, one year around 300 only.. If sh*t happen then different story la... Like not need to change absorber and service aircon.

ive spend so far close to RM35k for the span of 4yrs bro include engine & gbox rebuild....
beemer cheaper than proton/MMC maintanance kot....that not include service turbo yet....

BMW no way cheaper than Proton maintenance la.. you're comparing Turbo vs NA BMW, not Proton vs BMW.

But you guys are really going way off topic man

haha ya true proton turbo vs beemer.....
ok sorry TS, back to topic.....

guess we are all frustrated on the subject of cheated. expressing owner ship exp is good for other to know what its like on the other side. learning curb for us is a long way. fixin car can be expensive affair at the wrong hands.

this can be a guide for us. at least non perdana v6 owner know : perdana v6 can or cannot be tame / continental car ownership myth true or false.

i love cars regardless of its make. not the car fault, the hand at the workshop / garage & factory can determine it fate.

i dont advice free advert / promo for garage / workshop here. bad / expensive cost on car are welcome. primary is still on bad garage / workshop.

lets contribute for the better sake of our beloved pride cars. :driver:

HUNG PANG Exhaust Seremban after the Balai bomba opposite Advan Racing.

Totally a 120% cut throat shop. My 206 had a exhaust mounting that is broken and I went there to have it fixed. 1 of the rubber mounting was torn off. I was reluctant to go to that shop because I never did any business with them before but no choice since it's the nearest as my exhaust was scrapping the road.

When arrive there I was the only car, then 4 Blondie guy approach me and just terus jack my car without asking what's the problem until I have to tell them myself. Then another fat guy came over. He seems like the boss. "Wah...206 very rare car" that time Bestari haven't existed. Then he ask me what problem. I told him my exhaust mounting torn already need a new one. He then go look under my exhaust then I ask him how much for a mount. He don't even blink his eye and straight open price MYR90 for mount and MYR10 for labour. I straight say in English WTF...100 bucks for a freaking mounting! Then the boss don't understand and ask me what you say fxck fxck fxck...

I just tell him, No way 100 for a mounting. Then he told me 206 mounting is very expensive one. Import mah....I got more angry...F you la....where got such BS...I tell him I don't want to fix and jack down my car. He say ok then I still need to charge you 10 bucks because labour. I got more angry and feel like punching that fat guy's face. What labour? you guys just stand there do nothing and you want me to pay for labour. F you la!! The boss say cannot must pay then I tell him you want me to report police on you for cheating customer or not then he terus say "ok ok la...consider I rugi" WTF...what he rugi oh...didn't got anystuff from him also rugi kah...Fxck!

After jack down I just go to the next hardware shop to get some steel wire and tie the broken mount and got it fix on Monday at another shop which only charged me 10 bucks for the mount.

Can you imagine MYR100 for just a freaking exhaust mount. It's ridiculous. So my advice to guys, don't go to HUNG PANG exhaust...

alot of these tire shops earn money by adjusting camber. its easy money. and about that hung pang exhaust shop, wtf man? straight away jack ur car?

good thread, keep it up.

Talking about "Weng Cheong" also known as Falken, I believe many ipoh folks know that this shop is definitely a money sucking shop. I remember last time when drove in my wira to change some small part, then few of the workers keep finding fault out of the car. Saying mounting need change, lower arm, bearing not nice. If it's advise, then it's okay but those fella add on that if you dont change, will cause accident, and sort of stories.

When people car break down already not in a good mood , yet this kind of bugger keep on scaring the consumer. Another customer next to my car even scold them and say, shut the fcuk up and just change what I tell you. Not to mentioned they charge not cheap either.
