RR, Need to check road conditions from Genting Sempah to Bentong, there have been a couple of landslides recently.. If all else fails, there is always the option of karak straight to bentong, just to reach on time, and on the way back we can do some touge by using the old roads..

I was under the impression that it was highway all the way until Bentong toll? Then short drive through town roads sort of thing?

I lead? I've never even been to Bentong hahaha this will be like Stevie Wonder leading Gumball 3000! What time must our cars be at the college and what time are we expected/allowed to leave? Who is bringing cleaning materials? Once you're there obviously need to wipe of dust, clean brake dust, etc.

As for the waterfalls, I'm sorry but I can't come join you guys. I have to be back in Janda Baik for lunch with a bunch of very old men haha. My Dad is hosting a reunion with all his RMC buddies so he wants his son to be there. Personally, I enjoy it because it always leads to business.

Sorry can't remember colors of the other cars. But would be good to know so at least boleh susun somewhat creatively. Rather than have two same color cars side by side.

How big is the place for the cars? Does everyone pass it or are we stuck in a carpark somewhere over the rainbow? What are the rules? See no touch goes without saying. Any cars with nicely finished engine bays and don't mind popped bonnet to show off their T88s?

Sorry kalau over sikit but obviously I've done this sort of thing before. So anyone with cleaning products to final wipe down etc?

Update as above bro..Actually my 'bumbung' already in changed color..so i don't need any cleaning to wipe the car's body..already in tone color..shy shy cat gak ler..might be cover the bumbung with kain pelikat..hehe..but its better if our cars in shinning and clean condition..kata AUTOSHOW!! sorry yer pokku..xdam kawe nak touch up..
BTW i think BR have a complete cleaning kit..xgitu bro??

Bhagwan, we're meeting at BHP after the Gombak/Karak toll just before 8am and will leave from there by 8am. The Bentong Community College is just under 50km from the Genting Sempah Tunnel.

I have made course notes of all the various landmarks and also what route we will have to take in order to get to Bentong College. Basically, Karak is Route E8 which we follow all the way past Bentong town and then Karak Highway becomes Route 2 while Lebuh Raya Pantai Timur continues to the left as E8.

We then proceed through Karak town on Route 2, passing Petronas on our left, then CIMB on our right, then Esso on our left with Balai Bomba Karak opposite Esso. The road continues until we see Balai Polis Karak on our right after which the road curves to the left and then straight on past Kg Jambu Rias on our left.

Road then curves to the left again, passing Taman Seri Makmur on our right followed by Kampung Manglin and Kampung Teoh Low Cost Housing also on our right. The turn off to Bentong Community College is on our left, so we have to turn off at the next left after all the landmarks mentioned.

So far am I on the right track? This marks about 50km from Genting Sempah.
