misfiring at low rev...

i am getting fed up wit my ride... after redoing my timing belt and top head due to timing belt putus.. after 1 week my car start to misfire but only on low rev.. it semput semput then got letup letup sound from the back muffler... anyway can advise what to do??!!! going to change spark plug tomor...

your mech got put back the plug cable in order anot? wats your firing sequence?
or more severe your pistons are not in place & yr mech did not place them back in the correct order....forgot wats the term.....

check spark plug and cable too...or service throtle body....check air filter...

standard, had basic mods.
i suspect it's caused by my cam pulleys' settings. had them set back to 0 deg before and it was okay.
set back to non zero setting, the problem came back.
