Performance tyres for 15"

You mean price?
PS3 not sure for 195/50, but 195/55 is around RM280 to 290.
GY F1 D5 is around RM260

what is the rate for both of that tyre?
only those tyre i can get for my budget?

You can get Federals, Kumho's Ecsta, err Hankook (I forgot the model), you sound like you haven't even bothered to do your revision before asking.

What are you expecting out of the tire?

Federal will be the 595Evo, Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 and Hankook is the V12 Evo, but all directional pattern

TOYO TR888 if not mistaken can get around rm300/pcs... :adore:

vr2turbo, in your opinion overall which tyre is better, michelin ps3 or goodyear F1 D5?

Tough question. Most of my reviews on the tyres that I have used before, then I can vouch for them, but others, normally are gathered from feedback from others.
PS3 have been in the market for some time and have many positive feed backs already.
GY F1 D5 however is still new. Having tested them at GY tyre launch a while back, they are also a tyre that can meet performance orientated drivers. Feed back from a few members who are using are also good. Now to see the wear and noise issue only.
If noise is not part of your issue, it is worth trying them out as PS3 also wears out quite fast.
Therefore, my conclusion so far could be a 50/50 affair, but PS3 price is so high now and at some places at RM300 already

I see.. Thanks vr2. Currently I'm running on PS3s on the front. They are among the best set of tires I've ever used. However, I've read that Goodyear F1 D5 is even better than PS3 in almost every aspects (except noise level). Seriously considering F1 D5 for the rear when they wear out soon.

How come your rears will wear out first? Driving a RWD car or the rears are pretty bald already?

The rears are pretty bald already. Last time got not enough budget so I changed the fronts only..

I wonder whether local tire shops got G'year F1 D5 size 195/55 R15 or not? Also, will there be any problem when I want to swap tires (front to back) later since Michelin PS3 is asymmetric while G'year is directional? :hmmmm:
