Honda Insight in USA priced at $18,200, while in Malaysia priced at RM99,800
Honda CRZ in USA priced at $19,345. So I am guessing CRZ will be around RM105,000

i think should be more then RM105k if not it will effect the Insight sales.... i think it will be slightly more pricey then the CIVIC...

if people willing to fork out 30,40k cash for crx......what is a crz, with full loan+warranty? even more, buy and change to k20a, mind fk.

a good quality hybrid car doesn't come cheap bro, even with tax exemption. Even Lexus CT200h is more expensive. But they are all quality cars. Worth the money I guess. Worth the tax exemption, maybe.

yeah .. agree! .. they're more expensive than civic and more-less the same price with honda accord actually.

only manual is gonna come out...

If this is true, then Honda Malaysia has been doing a lot of rights recently, at least for a large group of Malaysian car enthusiast. The recent being the Civic Type R introduction locally.

That's a lot of jizzing here in this thread

I personally like this particular body kit which I doubt will be available anytime soon :

that's what Honda USA specially did for the SEMA show

information from my source @ honda malaysia, only 100 units will be made available in only 6 speed manual. open for bookings. however car will only be available somewhere in january 2012. on the registration, year manufactured 2011 year registered 2012. priced at RM120k. hope this helps.

are you saying there will only be 100 units of 6-speed manual versions in the coming batch of CR-Zs and others being the CVT?

thanks for futher confirming the 120K price

Tom: time to turn in the 12 pistons for this? if u do it.. i'll do the same for my 8s... ahahaha

not a chance but the CR-Z itself is a tempting car :)

I'm sure all potential buyer's fingers are crossed for the price to go under 120,000. especially for the manual since it's known to be cheaper to produce.

if it's priced around 105k I think it's reasonable, not overpriced like jazz..

I wonder if it suffers the same battery problems as the insight

yesterday my friend chatted with me telling he is so bengang when he failed to get cr-x for his project car. the reason was sellers put ridiculous price. then he went to honda dealer and put rm1000 on the table. he booked cr-z. settle. envy...

that 533hp cr-z turbo drools me. i even jizzed a bit.

your friend deserves all the right to get mad, most of the seller always put ridiculous price for the so called rare crx. they fail to realize that crx that they own most probably almost 20 years. if they really think it is rare and always claim they spent lots of money and time for their car, then dont sell at all. simple.

it is a wise choice, that crz. with official warranty from honda malaysia, buy with confident, peace of mind.

the initial plan by honda was to specially import ONLY 100 units total and all 100 units are of 6-speed manual priced at RM120k. this info was before the extended tax exemption for hybrid cars till 31-dec-2013 in the recent budget.

hopefully honda will reconsider and have the permit to bring in more units including the cvt ones. will keep posted. cheers

I wonder if we'll be seeing any CRZ with K'Spec Silk Blaze kit on the road. The rear is kinda cool, probably inspired by Zonda or LFA

already booked mine, and loan have been approved.now have to wait for the plate number n the car
