2.0Litre fuel consumption

Got a 4B11 MIVEC in the hood. Not sure about the specifics yet, but at slow speeds(80-120) its pretty fuel efficient, but anything above 120 it just starts to drink it :bawling:

Depend on Turbo or NA. Overall if u r not right heavy footed, fuel consumption still ok.

i'm getting about 380km-400km with about 45L petrol. is it ok? too high or normal or good?

Yours are better than mine, mine Honda crv rd1 with stock b20a can only clock 450km per full tank which is about 55l. 100% city drive with occasional sprints.

Hi Just wanna share with Corolla Altis 2litre engine (3ZRfE) with light mod to aftermarket drop in filter & 17Inch rim.

45L full tank + Ron 95 (RM 1.90) can clock avarage 550 KM..if long distance can reach 650KM (driving at 110 - 140) if whack maintain at 170-180..really suck the gas..

RM 50 can clock to 300-350 Km in town driving...

ur car mileage is damn good for a 2L car man. my 45L wanna touch 400km also so difficult.

Let's see who can beat my thirsty 6A12 auto, with simota drop-in filter and 17", 6.5km/L!

where got constant VTEC bro? occasionally only. just for the fun of hearing it. lol. not to go fast or race. just for fun. mine is close to stock too. yyc, u might want to check whats wrong with ur ride la. or is it a common problem for 6A12? not too familiar ler..

6.5km/L urban and 10km/L highway. It is in the high side for 6A12 NA comparing to other forummers. I have no idea. :bawling:

YYC,

i think ur fc is slightly higher compared to the others using the 6A12 NA engine..
but it's subjective to discuss the details of the result, as few factors contributing to the results..

i used to have auto gb on my 6A12 NA.. urban can get 8-9km/l & 11-12km/l for highway..
but now it's far much better fc with manual tranny.. pity to my knee but good to my pocket..

Wow.. you 2.0L kakis all so poor FC?

My friends Mazda 3 2.0L gets on average 11 to 12km/L stock standard. It's a pretty powerful ride imho and it's running on 17" standard rims.

I think its the old engines and technology. 6A12 isn't exactly new so you probably have lots of wear and tear, the B20 and B16, let's be honest - who doesn't want to hear the VTEC everyday? Sure la petrol habis.

New car surely get good FC. When I got my new Kancil, I could get 500km per full tank for about 3 years plus. After 6 years, want to touch 430km also is a great thing.

oops, this is a 2L thread, why Kancil came into the picture?

Not exactly new. 2007 model, meaning not the facelifted model. That's what I was also saying, some of you guys are using ancient engines. Perhaps it's time for an overhaul or rebuild.

Since you're talking about Kancils, my Wira does 15km/L and it's an auto plus my driving style is somewhat aggressive :thefinger:

Mine's perdana 4g63T auto with 20" rim.. 6.7km/L..yours a bit too thirsty le bro.. mine i also cannot tahan le.. haha..:driver:

Mines Satria RVR 4G63T (TD04HL) manual with 16" Rims 205/50/16 tyres and 3" straight piping without center bullet manage to get 7km/l (or RM10 for 38 km) for town driving..Sg. Buloh to Besut, Terengganu about 500km (gua musang road) consumed RM90 for fuel about 10.2km/l..im using ron95...
