Im using re001 205/40/17 japan made and the performance is superb compares to bf goodrich im using b4.

thanks for the feedback bro..was juz wondering as i would be upgrading mine ina couple of days..hows ur traction btw on a rainy day as far as i read on a few threads they say its a bit slippery...how is it comparing to normal tyres..?

By right RE-002 should be better, and as bro. soni mentioned I did hear from a few that wet handling is not too good, but then again many have asked what car, what driving speed, how much thread pattern balance and how to find out how heavy the rain was??

during rain the traction is just ok...dry is good...sidewall might be too soft if you love to attack corner...

RE-001 sidewall soft? I think PS3 even softer. RE-001 Adrenalin was made for dry handling with traction A rating, so I don't think the sidewall is that soft. Of course if you compare to extreme tyres for track then will be considered soft. But then these are suppose to be road tyres....

Wet and dry, then better take PS3, but if you can use tyre size of 215/45R17 (1.8% diameter smaller) or 225/45R17 (almost same diameter with 205/50R17) then can use GY Asy 2, because they come in at 45 series only...

Bro., if you are changing from 205/45R16, you cannot use 205/50R17. You added one inch up on the rims and you add another 5% up on the series making the tyres too big for use on the Satria. You size should be 205/40R17.
Since you have given up on 17", and stay back on 205/45R16, you can opt for Hankook V12Evo also.
Yoko A-Drive R1 is economy performer only.....

bro vr2turbo yes i opted for 16 inches instead.true that u say it wont fit...currently with the 16's also the back wheel clearance ny lepas 1 finger...tomorrow planning to go add 2 inch bushes for the back to get better clearance...atleast till i can afford a good adjustable coilover's...planning to also adjust the camber to make the wheels tilt a little...would it be ok for me to do that?

If you add height to your car by way of thicker absorber rubber bushing etc., may make your car unstable. Tilting the tyres by way of negative camber may wear your tyres faster also.
Your 205/45R16 is not original size? Best is to convert from original size to correct size tyres, use the correct offset rims and then you will not have this problem. Altering too much on the suspension (especially increasing height) and camber tilt is not the right way.

i see...ok whats the right offset and size i shud use bro..currently my offset on this 16" is 38....and also whats the best way for me to tilt the wheels without disturbing the camber settings...yeah i do understand disturbing the camber setting will bring bad news for the tyres but what is the right way for me to tilt the wheels bro vr2turbo?

Bro., I can't tell without seeing the car. But with 38 it is a little out for Proton make. 40 or 42 will make in come in a little but 38 looks better, only problem is the fender scrubbing.
How much is the tyres scrubbing the wheel arch fender. Since already have the rims, how about rolling the fenders instead.
Well, you cannot tilt the wheels without disturbing the camber setting, because that is what camber setting is about.

the front part is ok la bro still can enter 2 finger,th eback wheels only looks too close the fender...can lepas only 1 finger...scared might hit againts each other on a speed bump or a bumpy road...plus i havent inserted spare tyre in the boot yet...

If roll the fender can prevent the scrubbing, then that will be better....
